The past couple of weeks have shown some really nice weather days out but unfortunately, yesterday was not one of those days and it would be a day the Panorama girls  golf team would be in action.

They were in the friendly confines of Lake Panorama National Golf Course hosting a six team field for the annual Panorama Girls Invitational. Despite the wind which made its way over 20 mph, Madi Fear and Anna Duis would play some very solid golf to help lead the 13th ranked Lady Panther squad to a second place team finish with a score of 244.

Centerville would take the top crown as a team walking away with a nine hole team round of 189. After Panorama in second would be the Lady Hawks of Woodward Granger taking third shooting 247 followed by Des Moines Christian in fourth with a nine hole round of 254 and rounded out with Eralham in fifth with a 279.

Anna Duis and Madi Fear tied for the top golfing honors for the Lady Panthers both with a 58 though nine holes.

The Lady Panthers are back at it again this afternoon as they take their second shot at the 5 x 80 golf and country club taking on conference foes Des Moines Christian and West Central Valley beginning at 4:30 pm.
