At this week’s meeting of the Dallas County Supervisors, they received another update on the new law enforcement center project.

Jerry Purdy from Design Alliance let the Board know they currently have no action items relating to the project, but they will likely have one before August is over. The next action item will be the release of the drawings for the pre-grading package. It will be presented by the project’s civil engineer, and should be ready to present towards the end of August or beginning of September.

Purdy also said the architects and builders have moved out of the schematic design phase of the project, and are beginning to work on the practical side. The Supervisors will continue to receive updates on the center as work progresses.
