City of Perry

With autumn here and the amount of yard waste about to increase considerably, the City of Perry has changed its yard waste pickup schedule.

The City had been picking it up with a rotating schedule for residents on either side of Willis Avenue. Starting this coming week, however, yard waste will be picked up every Wednesday for all areas of Perry. The one exception is there will be no pickup on November 8th. The final pickup day of the year will be November 15th. The City reminds residents that all yard waste needs to be placed in biodegradable paper bags with a maximum weight of 40 pounds. Branches must be bundled and tied in maximum lengths of four feet.

All yard waste must be set near the street curb in front of your residence by 7 a.m. the day of pickup. Anyone with questions can contact City Hall at 515-465-2481.
