IMG_1434This week is National 4-H Week, and the Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension Office is giving back. They are sponsoring a school supply drive for victims of the Montana wildfires.

The Ricochet Intermediate 4-H group is challenging all clubs to complete the drive. Members should bring supplies such as pencils, crayons, and other basic necessities to the Extension Office by the end of October. The Extension Office is also conducting a change wars drive, with the proceeds going towards purchasing additional school supplies.

Extension is also celebrating National 4-H Week. Extension Director Mollie Clark is thankful for everyone involved in Guthrie County 4-H. “We want to thank all of our leaders and all of our Fair Board members that make 4-H what it is. We have a youth committee that works hard to make 4-H a fun and positive experience for everybody.”
