This Friday and Saturday, the Friends of the Perry Public Library will be holding their October book sale.

The biannual event is one of the library’s biggest fundraisers, as Library Director Mary Murphy explains, “The Friends of the Perry Public Library have two book sales a year: one in April, one in October. They do very well at this book sale. They have lots of fundraisers throughout the year, and all the funds that they raise go to our programming. They’re a big source of our programming money.”

The sale will include gently-used books that have been been donated or withdrawn from the library’s collection, each sold for $2 or less. There will also be audiobooks, movies, music, and magazines sold. The sale runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday in the library’s large meeting room.
