The Casey Public Library is getting the Halloween festivities off to an early start. Tomorrow the library is hosting Zombies in the Park at Rutt Park from 7-10 pm.

There will be a costume contest with a $25 gift card to Kum and Go as the first place prize. The event also includes a screening of Night of the Living Dead. All ages are welcome but the library warns it may be frightening. In case of bad weather, the event will shift to the library. Immediately before that event, the Casey Service Club is sponsoring a downtown Trunk or Treat event from 4-6 pm. Casey’s Beggars’ Night is on Halloween.
