The Panorama Panthers boys are officially done for 2017.
Their next contest is scheduled for January second. So, with the first half of the season out of the way, let’s dig a little deeper into the numbers.
The Panthers are currently 1-7. However, that record may be slightly deceptive as to the actual quality of play Panorama has put on the court. It has been a season of near misses. Four of Panoramas losses have been by single digits. Three of them were by five points or less. Their latest loss came in overtime to Woodward-Granger.
The Panthers are scoring 51.5 Points per game while shooting 57 percent from the free throw line. The ball movement has been solid, leading to 88 assists. Panorama hasn’t been shy from three-point land. As a unit, they have made 45 three-pointers on 148 attempts.
It has been an up and down start for the Panorama boys so far. However, they are a squad whose average loss in December was by just 7 points. They also will have a second chance at every team they saw in 2017. 2018 is a New Year full of Opportunity in Panora.
