Multiple underclassmen made contributions this winter for the West Central Valley Wildcats boys basketball team. The Wildcats recently finished up a 2-21 campaign featuring wins against Southeast Warren and AC/GC. Sophomore Kaleb Badker was among the leading scorers for the Wildcats, ranking second on the team with 236 points. He was four points shy of junior Cole Arnburg for the squad’s scoring title. Freshman Drew Taylor tallied the second most rebounds for West Central Valley, securing 63 total boards. His brother, freshman Evan Taylor, was the Wildcats third highest scorer with 141 total points scored. The Wildcats season ended February 12 with a 64-38 setback against the Pleasantville Trojans. West Central Valley graduates three players off this years squad including Garrett Caltrider, Billy Larsen, and Brock Wolfe.
