national weather serviceA winter weather advisory remains in effect for Greene, Guthrie and Dallas counties Thursday.

The National Weather Service is anticipating up to two-inches of snow and one-tenth of an inch of ice accumulations. Motorists are urged to drive slowly and defensively during Thursday’s morning commute. State, county and city plow crews could be out early clearing roads of snow and ice. Motorists are encouraged to give plenty of room for plow crews to do their jobs. The advisory will last the entire day today.

Slick road conditions may develop throughout the day, with limited visibility a possibility.
