The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

First on the agenda, the Board will continue their discussion on updates to the employee handbook, and take a look at compensation time for the Secondary Roads Department. Following that, they will consider a vehicle purchase request for the Sheriff’s Office. At 9:30 a.m., there will be a public hearing to once again consider approval of the fiscal year 2019 county budget. There was a mistake made in publishing the original public hearing, so this hearing will correct that error.

Other items on the agenda include: an Adopt-a-Roadway application by Van Meter Community Schools; business property tax credit applications; mobile home tax abatement requests; and a Board appointment to the Dallas Township Trustees. Finally, there will be an informational workshop to discuss the County’s space needs.

The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
