Coach Heath Telleen’s Greene County High School girls’ golfers were in action at the Indian Creek course at Nevada on Tuesday. The Rams were third among four teams with Humboldt at 196 for the nine holes, Ballard (Huxley) 212, Greene County 213, and 225 from Nevada.

The coach told Raccoon Valley Radio, “I am really pleased with our kids tonight. We played a new course and shot our second best round of the year. we have some great things to achieve as a team this year.”

Rachael Danielson led the Rams with a 47, followed by 50 from Ellie Madson, 55 from Serenity Blair, and 61 for Mariah Block.

Medalist honors went to Ballard’s Lauren Smith at 45 with Frances Carlson of Humboldt runner-up at 46.
