Midwest Partnership Wins Award at Iowa Smart Economic Development Conference

Midwest Partnership received special recognition on Wednesday at the annual SMART Economic Development Conference in Des Moines. The organization received the Overall Business Retention and Expansion Award for Regional Organization from Professional Developers of Iowa (PDI).

The award recognizes outstanding efforts of local and regional economic development initiatives in supporting growth and expansion of existing Iowa companies. The award also highlighted Midwest Partnership’s “Business Blitz” program and other initiatives over the previous year. PDI was founded in 1973 as an organization dedicated to advancing the professionalism of its members through a wide range of programs and services. The Ankeny-based organization has over 320 members.
