As the school year gradually comes to a close in the next couple weeks, area senior classes will be recognized for their achievements. Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School will honor their seniors at the Baccalaureate ceremony and Class Night next Wednesday, May 16th starting at 6pm at AC/GC High School. The event is free and open to the public.  

Superintendent Steve Smith includes the seniors in his thoughts on the year. “We’ve had a great year and we look forward to our new students coming in in another year in our different grade levels. We also want to wish our seniors who will be leaving luck in whatever their plans are as the graduate from AC/GC.”

Commencement is Sunday, May 20th at 1pm at the high school. This year’s speaker is Guthrie Center native and current Creighton University Women’s Basketball Coach, Jim Flanery.
