DSCN8371The Children’s Department of the Jefferson Public Library is hosting another opportunity for youth to improve their reading skills.

The “You Can ‘BEE’ a Storyteller, Too” workshop will take place tomorrow from 4 to 5pm. First and second graders will learn how to use words to describe what takes place in a story. Participants will also share round-robin stories. Drinks and snacks will be provided for free as well. No pre-registration is necessary for the free event.

Another reminder that Just for Babies Lapsit Story Time for newborns to 23-months and Ready Readers Story Time for those two to six-year-olds happen every Wednesday in May from 10 to 10:45am, with a social time to follow until 11:30am at the Children’s Department. A reminder that any child under the age of seven must be accompanied by an adult.
