The defending state champion Winterset Huskies defeated Perry in Raccoon River Conference softball last night 10-0 in five innings. The Huskies outhit the Jayettes 10-1 and took advantage of two early Perry errors. Jayna Kenney took the loss inside the circle allowing seven earned runs over four innings. She was the emergency starter with Alyssa Kruger not making the trip due to a schedule conflict. Kenney had the lone hit for the 8-13 Jayettes.
