There are a couple of youth programs coming up next week with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

Starting on Tuesday, and running through Friday, there will be a Mini-Basketball Camp for kindergarten through first graders. Participants will learn the fundamentals of basketball from Samantha Hardaway and Regan Lamoureux, who were two players from this year’s Greene County High School Girls Basketball team. The three-day camp will be held from 1 to 1:35pm at the Greene County Community Center. Cost to participate is $15.

Then on Thursday there will be a program for three to six-year-olds called Stars and Stripes. It is a 4th of July-themed program with activities to celebrate the American flag. It will be from 10 to 11:30am also at the community center. Cost to participate is $10.
