A Linden man was arrested last Friday morning on several charges, including one felony charge.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reports that on August 3rd, they executed a warrant and arrested 35-year-old Joseph Eugene Bennett, Jr. He was taken into custody on three counts, including: forgery, a class D felony; third degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor; and false report of an indictable offense to a public entity, a simple misdemeanor. Bennett was booked into the Dallas County Jail, where he is currently being held on $5,000 bond. He had his initial appearance in court on Friday, and will have a preliminary hearing on Thursday, August 30th.
