Perry Lutheran Homes will be hosting their next event in their Aging Well seminar series, and to do so they’re joining forces with Dallas County Hospital.

The focus of the event will be on understanding long-term care insurance, as well as veterans benefits. The guest speaker will be Sonya Ackerson, the Founder and CEO of Advocate 4 the Aging. Ackerson will discuss the details of long-term care insurance, as well as how to navigate health care benefits for veterans, their spouses, and dependents. The seminar is free and open to the public, though RSVP’s are recommended. The event will be held on Thursday, January 31st at noon in the Dallas County Hospital Community Room. Lunch will be provided for all attendees at no charge.
