Through “epic challenges” and team competitions, area kids can discover the importance of teamwork, creativity, and unity during a new event hosted by the Panora Chamber of Commerce.
The Panora Chamber is hosting a “Survivor Camp” for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade from June 24th-27th at Panorama Elementary. Camp activities will include water relays, water balloon challenges, minute-to-win-it contests, chalk designs, and more. Panora Chamber Vice President Amanda Creen says Chamber volunteers are working to make this a fun event to keep students’ minds and bodies active this summer, “I know that the gals who are working on it are working very hard to make sure that it sparks interest and imagination, and so that’s really great. We’re super excited to be able to offer it to the kids, we hope that this will be something that’ll continue and only grow in the future.”
Registration is open for the Survivor Camp, and proceeds will go towards the Panorama Days celebration. You can find the registration form in this story at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
