A Saturday afternoon brush fire south of Minburn brought a quick response and resulted in no injuries or damage.

Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard told Raccoon Valley Radio Minburn Fire Department was the first to respond to the call at 21723 N Avenue of a brush fire at 4:01pm. Dallas Center and Adel Fire departments also responded for mutual aid. Leonard confirmed that no one was injured and no damage was done when crews put the fire out by 5:30pm. The Dallas County Sheriff’s office assisted at the scene.

According to the Dallas County Assessor’s real estate website, the property is owned by Ty and Bailey Luellen.
