The annual fundraiser is underway for the Sierra Theatre in Jefferson.

The public is invited to watch three free movies through Thursday, April 25th. There are a few showings left for “The Unsinkable Molly Brown,” with showings at 7pm tonight and tomorrow, along with a 2pm matinee tomorrow. The next movie will be “Tootsie” with two showings at 7pm on Monday and Tuesday, along with an afternoon matinee at 2pm on Tuesday. The final movie is “How the West Was Won” with 7pm showings on Wednesday and Thursday and a 2pm matinee on Thursday.

There is also an open house tonight from 5 to 7pm where everyone can see the new restrooms that were installed and the updated concession stand. The project was made possible from a Greene County Community Foundation grant and other donations.

Proceeds from the “Let’s Make It Reel” fundraiser will go back to the theatre for improvement projects and the kids’ summer film event.
