After a banner junior season for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Lady Tigers, Abbie Hlas is continuing to receive postseason accolades from across the state of Iowa with the latest coming from the Des Moines Register. Hlas was mentioned as an honorable mention selection by the Register, after recording a massive junior season.

Hlas had a .554 batting average and .643 on base percentage, with 56 hits, 14 doubles, six home runs and 34 runs batted in. She also went 20-7 as a starter, recording a 1.35 ERA and 168 strikeouts. The Lady Tigers finished with a 28-7 record last year, and Hlas was a major reason for the success.

With a large amount of the team returning for next year, ADM could be one of the best teams in the state for 2020.
