Greene County High School senior Tyler Miller verbally committed last November to accept a football scholarship at Iowa State University. He’s one of the key players returning from the Rams’ 2018 team that qualified for the Class 2A playoffs.

Miller talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about his final high school football season. “The thing I focus on the most is leading the team and being with all the other leaders. Right now, I’m in high school football and I’m not going to worry about anything else other than winning in my senior season and going to the playoffs. I’m still focusing on helping out the younger kids, helping everyone else on the offensive and defensive lines and getting good looks wherever we can. My number one goal right now is getting to the playoffs!”

The Rams play a controlled scrimmage in Alleman with North Polk this Friday night at 7. The official start to the Greene County football season is in 10 days when the Perry Blue Jays visit Linduska Field in Jefferson for the renewal of the “Cowbell” series. All Greene County games will be heard again on KGRA 98.9 FM and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
