The Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board has added a new feature to their location at the intersection of Lincoln Way and Chestnut Street in Jefferson.

Board member Becky Greiner says they’ve installed “Living Waters,” located on the west side of the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center. She describes how the water feature looks.

“It’s a natural landscape. We have flowing water that cascades over several boulders. We’ve got tons of rock that we brought in, some driftwood, and then we added some grasses and plants to the basin.”

Greiner says the project was designed by Matt Jensen of Cummings, who has done several different water features across the state. She adds that the project was made possible through donations to the Thomas Jefferson Gardens in memory of loved ones.
