Gabe Heitz has been an important part of the ADM Tiger defense this year, but had his best performance of his career on Friday that helped ADM defeat Winterset by a score of 12-9.

Heitz on Friday was huge in the defensive slugfest against Winterset, leading the team with 9 1/2 tackles including a tackle for loss, and had a huge interception halfway through the 4th quarter that led to the go ahead touchdown. His interception was an impressive one as one, as he read the quarterbacks eyes and made an impressive diving catch to generate the one and only turnover in the game for either team.

Due to that play, ADM won the turnover battle for the fourth time this year, and improved their record to 4-0 when they win the turnover battle. ADM is 5-3 on the year and will be hosting senior night on Friday at Tiger Stadium when they host Lewis Central.
