Area farmers looking for an already prepared meal and residents who wish to support Guthrie Center projects are invited to Main Street Guthrie Center’s second annual Harvest Dinner.

The event will take place from 5-7 p.m. tomorrow at the Guthrie Activity Center and a freewill offering will be accepted. Main Street Guthrie Center Director Dana Buster explains why the organization hosts the dinner, “So this is our second year we’ve done a harvest dinner down here in Guthrie and this is for raising funds for our Main Street because our Main Street program is funded a hundred percent by donations.”

The mission of Main Street Guthrie Center is to enhance the economic vitality and promote historic preservation in its downtown, as well as supporting community partnerships. The dinner will include pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, and homemade pie. To go orders will also be available.
