The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday.

The meeting began with the Council directing the Panora Fire Department to send a letter of intent regarding the purchase of a ladder truck for about $150,000 to replace their current truck, which was manufactured in 1979. Next, the Council approved sewer interfund transfers of $36,073.25 for early payment of sewer debt to save on interest, and a transfer of $36,750 that was previously put in an incorrect fund. Finally, the Council approved the fiscal year 2019 annual urban renewal report, and a resolution obligating funds from the urban renewal tax revenue fund for payment of annual appropriation tax increment finance obligations for the next fiscal year.
