The Panora City Council approved setting a public hearing date to enter into an agreement borrowing an amount not to exceed $400,000 at their meeting Monday.

The date was set for February 10th for the proposal of a general obligation corporate purpose loan agreement for the purchase of an ambulance, fire department ladder truck, and air packs. The Council also approved a request from Nutriom, LLC. to release their property at 2947 200th Road from the City’s water district so the company can hook into the Lake Panorama Association water system. They later approved appointing Ashley Hines to the Park Board, with her term ending in 2024, an auction listing and marketing agreement with BigIron Auctions to sell their 1979 ladder truck and other equipment, and held a budget workshop.
