Adel-Desoto-Minburn has announced that Rod Wiebers has been named the next 7-12 Activities Director at ADM Community Schools. They will finalize the hire pending successful completion of the required formal background check and School Board approval.

Through the ADM website, Wiebers has spent the past 17 years as a teacher and coach at Johnston school and has served as a School Administration Manager (SAM) since 2010. He  has worked with the Johnston AD and Assistant AD in event management since 2014 and has served as the Varsity Defensive Coordinator for the football team for the past 17 years.

Wiebers earned his BA in Business Education with concentrations in accounting and economics from Buena Vista University in 2002. He earned his MA in Educational Administration from the University of Iowa in 2010.

Wiebers will officially begin his duties this summer and will work with interim ADM AD, Larry Mokelstad on transition plans this spring.
