Healthcare providers are needed now more than ever because of the novel coronavirus 2019 pandemic, which makes it no better time to honor those who have made significant strides in their field.
The 100 Great Iowa Nurses of 2020 were recently announced, and from the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area Greenfield resident Mary Groves of Greater Regional Health was selected. The 100 Great Iowa Nurses award recognizes those who have made meaningful, lasting contributions to their patients, colleagues, and the nursing profession, and are viewed as mentors to other nursing professionals. Nominees for the award must meet the requirements of having a current Iowa Registered Nurse license, having practiced nursing for a minimum of three years, having gone above and beyond normal job responsibilities, and have not been named a honoree previously.
