Carlisle used an eight run second inning Monday night to defeat Perry 15-5 in Raccoon River conference baseball action at Progressive Field.  The Wildcats sent 10 batters to the plate and took full advantage of three Perry errors in the inning.  Keeghan West deserved a better fate allowing three earned runs over 4 1/3 innings.  He struck out a season high seven batters.  West and Caden Steeva provided the only hits on the night for Perry.  Avery Meister and West added single RBI’s.  Perry scored three of their runs on a three base throwing error by Carlisle.  Perry falls to 0-8 on the season and will travel to Bondurant Farrar Wednesday night.
