The Dallas Center-Grimes Baseball team finishes its regular season tonight on the road at Carlisle.  The Mustangs currently boast a 14-2 record on the season, and a #2 ranking in the Class 3A standings.

DC-G throttled Ballard in Slater on Monday night by the score of 10-1.  Another dominant performance on the mound by DC-G Senior ace, Logan Smith.  Smith went 5 and 1/3 innings and struck out 6 Bombers.

Byron Peyton’s team gets one final night of tune-ups before the season becomes a “win or go home” situation with District Tournament play beginning on Friday when the Mustangs host the Greene County Rams.  Greene County closed out its regular season with an extra innings win on Monday at Nevada.
