The Panorama baseball team fell in a low-scoring thriller.

The Panthers made the trip to North Polk High School for a rematch with Des Moines Christian with a spot in the state tournament on the line. Both teams threw their number one pitcher and both cruised through the first few innings. Panorama caused some trouble in the bottom of the fourth as they loaded the bases with just one out but came up empty. The Panthers didn’t slow down the attack and were able to plate two runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 2-0 lead. It didn’t take long for the Lions to answer back as they followed with a three run sixth frame to take a 3-2 lead. Pitching for Des Moines Christian then regained their focus and shut out Panorama in the final two innings to clinch the win.

Panorama finished the season with a 12-4 record.
