
Some students in Dallas County have started the school year, and Dallas County Public Health is doing its part in making sure students are staying up to date on their immunizations.
DCPH is hosting an immunization clinic Monday for the Vaccines for Children program which was established to meet the vaccination needs of children from birth through 18 years of age. Through VFC, children may receive vaccinations for free if they are enrolled in Medicaid, don’t have sufficient health insurance coverage, or is American Indian or Alaskan Natives. Monday’s clinic will be from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Dallas County Public Health Offices in Adel. Appointments can be made by calling DCPH at 515-993-3750.
