The Perry City Council will be discussing a new zoning ordinance during their meeting Tuesday.

The meeting will start with a public hearing regarding a proposed amendment to the City’s zoning ordinance. Then the Council will discuss a contract with Region XII for administrative services during the community development block grant process. The Council will also hear an update from the newly formed firework committee to discuss options pertaining to the City’s firework policy. Also on the agenda is amended ordinances for trees, stop or yield requirements, and zoning regulations.

Masks are required for those who plan on attending. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Towncraft Building in downtown Perry.
