West Central Valley’s Hunter Keller was able to play hero on Thursday night for the West Central Valley Wildcats, as he was able to put up 25 and West Central Valley was able to win in a thrilling double overtime victory 54-48 over Perry. In a thrilling back and forth contests, the Wildcats played their tails off during the game to stick around a stingy Perry team, and had to hang tough during tough stretches to gut out a victory.

The Wildcats were able to outscore Perry 10-4 in the second overtime to take the victory, but wouldn’t have gotten there without Keller’s key shots with three’s late in regulation and overtime as well helping propel the Wildcats into the win column. This is the first victory in over a year for the Wildcats, and one they can hope to build off of in the coming weeks after getting one in the win column.

On the girls side, Perry walked away a victor 48-44 is their game, as the Wildcats competed well but couldn’t stop the Jayettes key players.

Both sides will be back on the court in the near future, as Wildcats hoops have continued to be entertaining this season.
