While many people are ready to return to life as it was before the coronavirus pandemic, Iowa State Senator for District 10 Jake Chapman says he wants Iowa to return to something better. 

As the Legislative session begins, Chapman wants to make sure that Iowans begin to fade away from the pandemic and have a brighter picture in mind. 

“I am focused on a brighter tomorrow something even better than the past. This is our opportunity really to grow Iowa’s economy bigger and stronger and better than ever before and we have incredible opportunities to do that.”

Chapman says there are many ways that can happen whether that be dealing with taxes and making sound fiscal policies as it relates to taxpayer dollars. 

“The main focus I think is really coming out of how can we make Iowa even better than pre-covid not just returning to pre-covid days but better than pre-covid days.”

Chapman will also look to bring his own ideas to the table during the Legislative session.
