Since the approval of the new music policy by the Greene County Board of Supervisors, the first live concert on the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower of the year is tomorrow.

The first Tower Tunes Live event is in honor of Mother’s Day and the concert will be from 12:15-12:30pm. The concert is one of several that are outlined in the policy, including other holidays such as Father’s Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Memorial Day. Each live performance will be done by a Mahanay Maestro, which was also approved by the Supervisors.

The maestro for tomorrow’s concert will be Rick Morain. The event is free and open to the public.
