ADM boys track and field was at Carlisle on Thursday evening as the boys were looking to qualify for the state track and field meet, and they did as they were able to finish in first place as a team with 178 points. The result will allow the Tigers to compete as a team next week in Des Moines.

ADM was able to have multiple individuals and teams qualify, which included the sprint medley team getting a time of 1 minute 34 seconds, the 4×800 team with a time of 8 minutes and 20 seconds. The 4×400 team got first at 3 minutes and 28 seconds. Nate Mueller was able to grab 1st in the 3200 race with a time of 9 minutes and 56 seconds, the 1600 at 4 minutes and 28 seconds, and also grabbed the 800 meter race with a time of 1 minute 58 seconds. Brevin Boll was able to grab a mark of 22.41 seconds in the 200 meter dash. The distance medley team got first with a time of 3 minutes and 36 seconds.

For the Tigers, they now will have more practices in the coming days as they get ready for the state meet in Des Moines, as they were able to put up some outstanding marks in their district meet.
