Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers golf participated in their first day of the state golf tournament, putting together a mark of 351 which is 8th overall out of 10 teams.
Conditions were very difficult throughout the day for the golfers up in Marshalltown, with overcast conditions and wind as well. The Tigers were lead by Sam Hlas, who got a 10 over 80. Finn Garton was able to get an 86, Grant Garton a 91, Easton Corell a 94, Lincoln Banwart 96, and Aaron Techenburg 96.
Gilbert is the overall leader at 311, which is 14 strokes ahead of the closest team.
ADM will be having their second day of the golf tournament today, as they will tee off again this morning, and hopefully will be high up on the leaderboard by the time the day is done.
