Both the WCV Baseball and Softball teams hit the diamond Tuesday night. They both took on ACGC.

The 3-4 Wildcats baseball team were up against a 2-7 Chargers squad. The Chargers jumped to a 3 run lead after the 1st inning and never looked back. They added multiple runs in each inning until the 6th. Junior Charlie Crawford, gave the Wildcats defense nightmares with 3 hits in four at bats. The Wildcats lost 18-7.

Softball was off to a strong start. The Wildcats held 2-0 lead into the 3rd. The Chargers bats light up in the 3rd inning, getting in 6 runs. WCV fought back and notched 2 runs in 5th to make it a 6-4 game. ACGC put the game away by ending the game with 5 unanswered runs. The Charges won 11-4.

Both teams will have today off before they hit the diamond on Thursday. Both teams will be taking on Van Meter at home. First pitch is 5PM for baseball and 5:30PM for softball.
