It’s a top three matchup in 4A softball tonight, as #3 ADM Tigers will be traveling to the #1 Winterset Huskies in a big Raccoon River Conference matchup. Winterset comes in at 27-6 and ADM at 21-6, as both teams have been dominant throughout the season. ADM won the first game between these two schools earlier this season, as ADM was able to give Winterset it’s only conference loss of the season. The Tigers were boosted by a six run fourth inning in that game and Aliya Yanga from the circle, as she was able to record 18 strikeouts on the night.

Tiger softball is coming off of only their second shutout loss of the season on Monday, losing by the score of 8-0 to Bondurant-Farrar. Winterset is winners of seven straight before their game on Tuesday, and have looked like a top team all season long.

The Tigers will be looking for a way to find an early lead, and limit a Winterset lineup that has been one of the best in the state throughout the season.
