The total number of deaths has remained the same but positive COVID-19 tests have increased in the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area.

According to the State Coronavirus Dashboard, as of Friday, Dallas County has 12,873 total positive tests, for an increase of 136  since July 18th, and a total of 99 deaths . Guthrie County has seen an increase of 10 cases since July 18th of 1,336 total positive tests, and a total of 32 deaths. Adair County has 1,033 total positive tests, for an increase of 20 cases since July 18th, and a total of 32 deaths. Greene  County has 851 total positive tests and 11 deaths.

As of Wednesday, statewide, there are 410,166 total positive tests, and 6,183 deaths.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers hospital data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 50 hospitalized patients, 16 in intensive care units and 13 admitted in the last 24 hours. Raccoon Valley Radio will continue to provide the latest information on COVID-19 as it affects the listening area.
