6:41am: A Traffic Stop at Westwood and Deer Run resulted in Jeffrey Rudolph of Scranton being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
9:11am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 100 Block of East Lincoln Way Street.
9:00am: An officer assisted a deputy in an Assault Case, which occurred in Grand Junction. The officer located a female juvenile in Jefferson and gathered information to pass on to the deputy for his investigation.
10:46am: The Cobble Stone Hotel spoke to an officer concerning a Civil Issue that had occurred at 771 Wild Rose Lane.
2:39pm: Ronnie Madison reported a subject near 220 th and Elm Street, who was driving on a flat tire and dragging his rear bumper. The officers did not locate the reported vehicle.
4:54pm: Tim Grevson reported that while riding his bike on the trail near Monroe Street, two dogs entered the bike trail. He advised he could not avoid a collision with one of the dogs, causing him to crash on his bike. Grevson reported minor injuries from the event. The officer located the animal’s owner and advised them of ordinances pertaining to animals leaving the owner’s property.
7:12pm: Amy Baugh reported Criminal Mischief to two windows at 301 ½ East Lincoln Way Street. The apartment is rented by her adult son. Baugh had located a piece of a cinder block inside the house, believing it to be the object thrown through the windows. The officer is investigating.
7:33pm: Michelle Cook reported a male subject had taken her cell phone from 206 North Oak Street. The officer contacted the male, who brought the phone to the LEC.
8:32pm: Jessica Jasso requested an officer to conduct a Welfare Check on her brother in Jefferson. She was unable to reach him by phone. The officer checked his residence, but received no response there.
10:09pm: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 1200 Block of Westwood Drive.
11:02pm: George Glasgow reported being assaulted earlier in the day at 104 North Locust Street and wished to speak to an officer. When the officer called Glasgow back, he advised he did not wish to make a formal complaint and did not need the officer’s assistance.
******** An officer has sent charges to the Juvenile Court for a 14-year-old female. The charge is, “Assault – Serious.” The charge stems from a reported incident at the Greene County High School, located at 1901 North Grimmell Road on 08/24/2021.
