The Dallas County Board of Supervisors discussed the potential for future county and court space needs at their regular meeting Tuesday.
The Board discussed the potential for future court space needs as the population in Dallas County continues to increase and more court space may be needed. Various discussions were held including how large additional court spaces would need to be to accommodate a jury trial and where the additional court spaces would be located. As this was a discussion item no action was taken on the matter.
Also, the Board approved the termination of an Iowa Economic Development Authority agreement with Tyson Fresh Meats, along with approving rezoning Knoll Brothers Enterprises to light industrial and voted to wait on any potential action on the Iowa Department of Natural Resources well permitting 28E agreement.
