adm-7

The number three team in 4A volleyball in Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays visited Adel on Tuesday night looking to stay undefeated, but the Tigers had other plans in store as they won 3 sets to 2 to give the Bluejays their first loss of the season. The Tigers move to 9-3 on the year and Bondurant-Farrar to 10-1.

ADM was able to flex their muscle early in front of a loud home crowd, taking the first two sets 25-23 and 25-20 to put themselves at a big advantage early on. The Bluejays countered in sets three and four, as they were able to put up a pair of set wins 25-17 and 25-17 to go to the decisive fifth set all knotted up. The set was intense with long rallies and competitive play from both sides, but ADM was able to take the set and the match 15-12.

The Tigers were great on both ends of the court, getting excellent offensive attacks out of numerous players while putting together a strong defensive showing in one of their largest wins of the season.

The Tigers will be looking to take advantage of some practice for the rest of the week before getting geared up for more games next week.
