When the Greene County Rams play Heart of Iowa volleyball tomorrow night in Jewell vs. South Hamilton, Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s team will be looking for a rare conference win on the road. Greene County teams went 0-3 away from home in conference matches in 2020, and the Rams have lost their last six matches in the league on the road dating to 2019 when the Rams won in Des Moines vs. Saydel. Saydel hasn’t won a Heart of Iowa match since 2014.

This season, Greene County is 0-1 away from home with a loss in Story City last week vs. Roland-Story. The Rams are 1-1 in the conference and 7-4 overall, their best start to a season in recent years. The Hawks are 10-11 overall and they have not yet played a conference match.
