If you missed your chance to see the fall play being performed at Perry High School, you have one more chance today.
The fall play “Radium Girls” tells the story of women in the early 1900s who worked in watch painting factories where they worked with radium. Cast member Bryce Eastman says the story will show how America has changed over the years.
“Especially, sincethis is based off a true story, taking a piece of history and taking a story that not very many people have heard of and just going based off that to see how America has evolved throughout this time and why we put all the safety measures and finding elements that can kill us and making it a lot safer, especially in the factories and everything like that.”
The final showing of “Radium Girls” at the Perry Performing Arts Center is tonight beginning at 7 p.m. You can purchase tickets at the door at a cost of $5 for all ages.
