As the holiday season continues, there will be plenty of celebrations for people to enjoy in the coming weeks. 

One such event is with the Dallas Center Seasonal Fun Committee with their 2021 Hometown Christmas that will take place this Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. in Dallas Center and there will be plenty of activities for people to take part in throughout the day. 

There will be a Cookie Walk at the Methodist Church hosted by 4-H, Sugar Grove Goods will have a giving tree and fun crafts for kids, and B&B Gallery will be hosting Santa Claus from 5-7 p.m. with live music from performer Paul Little.

There will also be the 2021 Hometown Christmas Chili Cook Off from 5-7 p.m. along Walnut Street. To register to take part in the event you can go here. The goal of the Dallas Center Seasonal Fun Committee is to put on free annual events, which the Hometown Christmas has no cost to participate in the various events.
