The public is invited to bid on a holiday-theme favorite decor item this Saturday at the Greene County Medical Center.

The medical center’s auxiliary is sponsoring a public silent auction for their Holiday of Lights fundraiser on Saturday from noon-4pm. Items, including wreaths, trees and baskets are now on display in the main lobby and were made by medical center staff, Auxiliary members, and community members. Unlike in previous years, this Saturday will be the only day that the public can bid on these items, with the proceeds to go to the Auxiliary for additional purchases for the medical center. Additionally, the Auxiliary’s Gift Garden will also be open from noon-4pm this Saturday and for two more Saturdays on December 11th and 18th. 

The gift garden has been closed for almost two years because of the pandemic and the Auxiliary wanted to have their shop open for this holiday season. All visitors will be screened for COVID-19 when entering the gift garden and masks will be required.
